so this happened a couple of weeks ago now, but i entered two works into the blacktown council art prize and won the watercolour category and was highly commended for my works on paper entry. listen to what the judges said about the winning work, "the winner was a stand-out, exquisite in detail and execution. it displays great colour sense and understanding of the watercolour medium. It is a beautiful and unique composition." now I feel super encouraged and ready to get started on some new drawings. wahooooo
