just realised i got a nice little mention in the frankie online newsletter the other week. sweeeeeeeeet.
the mercure hotel at potts point has so kindly asked me to do some work for their reception and restaurant walls. the other day i went and collected my canvases so i could get started on the project.
its really exciting to be working in a larger scale again and on primed canvas. its something i havent really done much of with the watercolour and i just love how the colours bleed together because the medium isnt absorbed into the surface and is more like a stain. ive still got some way to go with it but starting it has got me super excited. im hoping they will be up in the space in a couple of weeks time.
canvases are 36 x 36 " each
