oh my g. went to an opening last night at somedays gallery and was blown away by the work on show. lauren webster is a talent indeed. her beautifully feminine and fragile drawings graced the gallery walls and by the time we left almost all of them were sold. geeeeeez, totally awesome for her first solo show. i loved her use of line and repetition, mirroring images and adding colour in not too overwhelming amounts. Every face was identifiable as the same but each figure had a new air and convinced me it was a new person. Utterly beautiful. Im so excited to see where her work goes next.
